Safety Guidelines

• We will not be working with high voltage electricity unless its in a black box, meaning we plug it in and nothing else is exposed (like a radio or computer).
• Devices that we open, build, and configure will be low voltage only. These types of devices will run off batteries or solar.
• Any cutting or the use of soldering guns will be used by the class instructor and/or parents only, this will be done at a special workstation prepped for soldering activities.
• We will always do our classes here at the Modjeska Canyon Recreation Center. Any off-site classes will be coordinated as separate events entirely.
• We will not do anything illegal.
• We will always use the proper safety equipment. Parents will be notified about needed safety gear before meetings if its not provided.
• All projects should be done with the supervision of the parents.
